Ingredients

unseasoned rice vinegar

plus 2 teaspoons light brown sugar

clove
garlic
(peeled and minced)

fish sauce

crushed dried red chile pepper
Method
Bring vinegar and sugar to boil in small saucepan, stirring briefly, until sugar dissolves. Pour into bowl; stir in garlic, fish sauce and chile. Cool and refrigerate.
